The season is off to a great start and as promised, Styled by Mark is sharing some of our favorite looks as we report the latest trends. Initially we highlighted the versatility of the khaki suit and this week it’s the evolving interest of the faded blue jean. Actually, 10 Ways to Rock the Faded Jean this Spring!

Not too long ago we were all head over heels in love with the very dark jean. While we appreciated the richness of the darker hue, we also regretted the moment we had to wash them. Inside out, in a pillow case and some other home remedies allowed us to hold on to the inevitable fading glory. Eventually, we conceded the fading of our favorite dark jeans and the search for the next pair began.

This season, designers have taken a more relaxed approach to the jean by creating lighter hues that wont bleed and are versatile enough to dress up or wear casually. Most of our followers prefer the medium to light blue version of the jeans, and I’d have to agree with their opinion. Jeans that are too light border the acid-washed look and lose the formal/informal looks preferred when pairing them with an expensive blazer or leather jacket. The medium to lighter hue lends itself to multiple uses and enhances the wardrobe.  If you don’t mind the faded look, this is your season! Fortunately, a number of designers offer an array of colors (medium to light blue hues) to choose from; so enjoy the Hunt!
