It’s a Plaid, Plaid World: My Three-Piece Photoshoot

Styled by Mark – Fashion, Style and Grooming advice for Men made simple!  Fall, wonderful fall is here and like you, I’m eager to learn of the latest fashion trends we expect to see this season for men. I’ve done quite a bit of research, and boy am I glad I did! Over the next several months, I’ll focus on the Fall and Winter trends as well as featuring some of my favorite menswear collections. Among the current trends is the resurgence of the plaid suit. One of the hottest looks this season is a departure from the relic of the 1970s. The plaid suit is slimmer, bolder and ready to take its rightful place as the versatile go-to look for stylish men. Today’s plaid suits are both loud and subtle. According to GQ, when buying a plaid suit- as with any kind of suit, actually – you should always feel at ease.  So, make sure you’re comfortable wearing plaid before you make the purchase.

This week on the blog, I decided to share a few pics of my own in one of my favorite plaid suits. If you know me, you know I enjoy a dapper look that is a nod to both American and British tailoring. As I decided what to wear, I let the shirt and tie determine the look for my photoshoot. Stripes and paisley were the looks of choice. The color-palette is definitely embracing the Fall season. The three-piece suiting created the silhouette I wanted and the accessories were deliberate as I looked for the wow factor. The setting was the prestigious Rollins College in Winter Park as the backdrop. Yep, you guessed it; just my typical routine on a beautiful Saturday morning. Well, maybe not, but I hope you enjoy the photos.
