Well, here we are in 2016. As I start the new year, it is always an amazing opportunity to recalibrate my focus and set new goals for the new year. I am so thankful for the support Styled by Mark experienced last year. Boy, did we ever realize some pretty big dreams. I wish I could say it was accidental and/or luck. Fortunately, I have been open to starting my year by setting goals and consistently measuring my progress. The first week in January is when I start acting on the ground work I start outlining in December.
This year, I decided to goal-set and vision cast at one of my favorite coffee houses in Winter Park, Barnies Coffee. The weather was ideal and the atmosphere was energetic. Now, if you know me, you already know that I dressed for the occasion; casually, but I dressed-up none the less. As I planned my year by journalizing my goals, I was motivated to set deadlines as I anticipate documenting every accomplishment set in writing.
While most of my posts seek to motivate in the areas of style, grooming and the latest fashion trends, I believe goal-setting will help in all areas of life. Well, so much for soap-boxing. Here’s a few pics of me enjoying my first goal-setting session of the new year. How do you start your new year? Share your annual rituals.
