What a remarkable two years the Bally brand has enjoyed with its energized relaunch. The brand that began as an elastic ribbon manufacturer in 1851 continues to demonstrate that it has fully evolved into a luxury mainstay for men and women around the world. Pablo Coppola has been the creative director for the brand since 2014 and has infused the menswear collection with fun, bold and unexpected pieces that make this his best collection yet. So, today we share our review of the Bally Fall 2016 Menswear Collection.
I particularly enjoyed the big plaid double-breasted suit paired with a ruffled shirt and velvet bow-tie. The burgundy doubled-breasted suit accented with the turtleneck and scarf was a great look that resonated with several of the staffers. Or what about the double-breasted caban (peacoat) jacket with crocodile arms? As is the case with so many collections, Bally also paired their exquisite suiting and luxe looks with boots, phenomenal shoes and sneakers which gives it a youthful expression and shares its multi-purpose functionality. While I mentioned that it has a youthful look and feel, I am also sure that fashion-forward baby boomers and generation-xers will find a number of looks that appeal to them as well.
